Kari Dowell is Williams-Keepers LLC’s director of marketing and human resources. She joined the firm in 2003.

As marketing director, Kari oversees the firm’s branding efforts, publications, Web site content, special events and media relations. She also assists WK’s industry teams with strategic planning, client communication and outreach.

In her role as human resources director, Kari is responsible for the WK’s orientation, retention and professional development programs. She also oversees firm policies and coordinates internal communications.

Kari earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a graduate certificate in public management from the University of Missouri. Prior to joining WK, she worked for the U.S. House of Representatives and the Missouri State Senate.

Kari is a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing, the Society for Human Resources Management, HRA of Central Missouri and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Network. She serves on the Finance Committee of Missouri United Methodist Church and volunteers for several community organizations.
