New WK Web site features RSS feed

Williams-Keepers LLC recently launched a redesigned Web site at www.williamskeepers.com
. WK is the first accounting firm in Central Missouri to feature an RSS feed on its Web site.

Visitors can subscribe to the News section of the firm’s Web site through the RSS feed, which delivers frequently updated content via e-mail, podcast or a news aggregator, such as Feedburner. Subscribers can choose to receive updates from any of the available feeds, including Client Alerts, news releases, current publications, and upcoming events.

“Our goal is to be a source of accurate information for our clients and the public,” says Managing Member Russ Starr. “The new site allows us to quickly and efficiently disseminate news that affects your business and personal finances. For instance, when new federal tax legislation is signed into law, subscribers will receive an update as soon as it is posted to our site.”

WK launched the redesigned Web site in June 2008. The new site features streamlined menus for easier navigation, a clean design, expanded information on services and industry niches, and a newly organized News and Events section. The new site also devotes more space to the Careers section and profiles of WK’s member owners and managers.

Starr notes that the new WK Web site contains more personal touches than the old site. “The new site helps tell the WK story – how we serve our clients, what our buildings look like inside and out, and the community activities we’re involved in. It is more than just a description of our audit, tax and accounting services.”
