WK members and associates appointed to PKF committees


Williams-Keepers LLC (WK) is pleased to announce that it will be represented in 2009 on six PKF North American Network (PKF) committees and task forces. PKF is a membership association comprised of 88 independent accounting and consulting firms in North America that are dedicated to serving middle-market businesses and individual clients. WK has been a member of PKF since 1977. 

Russ Starr, CPA, Managing Member, was reappointed to the Large Firms Task Force, a forum for the managing members of PKF’s larger member firms to network and share insight on matters facing the public accounting industry. Starr joined WK’s ownership group in 1984 and was elected the firm’s managing member in 2002. He is responsible for the strategic leadership of the firm as well as the management of its day-to-day operations. 

Heidi A. Chick, CPA, Member Owner, was appointed to the Not-For-Profit Committee for the second consecutive year. Chick oversees the firm’s audit and accounting services. Her specialty areas include not-for-profit entities, local governments and employee benefit plans. She joined WK in 2001. 

Shawn Barnes, WK’s Director of Business Development, was appointed to PKF’s Business Development/Marketing Committee for a third term. Barnes, who manages the firm’s business development efforts, joined WK in 2002. 

Ryan Henry, CPA, was appointed to his first term on PKF’s Construction Contractors Committee. Henry, an audit manager who joined WK in 2000, specializes in service to construction companies and not-for-profit organizations.  

Ken D. Lange, GSEC, Director of Information Technology, will enter his fifth year of service on the Technology Committee. Lange, who joined WK in 1980, manages the firm's technology department, ensuring that state-of-the-art equipment and resources are available to all WK associates.  

Amber L. Snider, CPA, was appointed to PKF’s Financial Institutions Committee for a third term. Snider, an audit manager who joined WK in 1997, works closely with clients in the financial institutions and agribusiness industries.
