Tax Treatment of Husband/Wife LLCs - A partnership return might be required for a business operated jointly by a husband and wife, even if the husband and wife file a joint personal income tax return. In light of the increased penalties for failing to file a partnership return, it is important to consider whether you are engaged in a partnership for which no federal income tax return is currently prepared.

COBRA subsidy expanded and extended - A new law includes provisions that extends the COBRA premium subsidy from 9 months to 15 months and expands eligibility to those who lose their jobs in the first two months of 2010.
