IRS e-file
Nearly every federal and state individual and partnership income tax return WK prepares is filed electronically to the Internal Revenue Service through a secure service called e-file.
IRS e-file is an accurate and safe way to get your income tax refund back to you in half the time of a paper return.
If your federal income tax return was filed electronically through e-file, you can find when you might expect to receive your refund from the IRS by using the 2010 e-file Refund Cycle Chart.
Use the acceptance date on your IRS e-file confirmation postcard or e-mail to find when your federal tax refund will be mailed. IRS e-file confirmation postcards and emails are sent to you from the IRS approximately one week after your electronic federal tax return was transmitted.
For more information about IRS e-file, contact one of our offices or download one of these informational brochures from the IRS.
